HENRI

Photographic Intelligence

Not a filter. Not a gallery app. An agent that sees photographs the way a working critic sees them — through formal analysis, historical literacy, and curatorial judgment.

How HENRI Sees

Five axes, applied to every image:

Formal

Composition, geometry, light quality and direction, tonal range, depth, spatial organization.

Technical

Sharpness, exposure, dynamic range, focus precision. The craft underneath the art.

Semantic

Subject, narrative, emotional register, environment. What the image says and what it withholds.

Historical

Traditions, specific photographer references, movement. Where this image sits in the conversation.

Curatorial

Tier (exhibition to discard), score (0–100), justification. The honest assessment most tools won't give you.

The Five Tiers

Exhibition 85–100 Would hold a wall. Stops the viewer.
Portfolio 70–84 Demonstrates serious capability. Shows the eye.
Strong 50–69 Competent work with clear strengths.
Study 30–49 Learning material. Steps toward the ones that matter.
Discard 0–29 Not worth keeping. Move on.
